This is the life and times of a mommy...one who still believes in those fairytale fantasies we lose along the way!

I am a working mommy! This means that I have a busy life. But, it also means that I have a very rewarding one at the end of every day. I work at a local college and have for 12 years and counting! My daughter turned three in October and we will be celebrating our 12 year anniversary in March. Life may be complicated but it is good!
iHeard- The Recent Ramblings From a Three Year Old
LitlBit: Mommy, what's my email address?
LitlBit on computer: Mommy it won't work- Mommy: You probably have too many windows open and it is confused Result: LitlBit runs to all the window in the house to close the blinds! LitlBit: Mommy, that's not the problem...it still won't work! LOL!
LitlBit and I were driving home the other day from school. During the drive she asked where the neighborhood kitty Oliver had been. I told her, "Oliver is out cattin' around." When we got home from school LitBit proceeded to run up to daddy and asked, "Daddy, can I go cattin' around with mommy after dinner?"
LitlBit was playing outside with the dog and cat today. She came running in very excited. "Mommy, mommy, mommy. Spencer is not a cat anymore." I just looked at her very confused. "Mommy, he's is not a cat anymore Mommy. He's a dog now. Mommy...come look...mommmy...he's a dog now." So, I go outside to see. She goes out and says, "Mommy he doesn't go meow-meow anymore he goes {insert a panting three year old here}." Kitty was fine just hot. Me...I was laughing hysterically!
LitlBit was sitting on the toilet pondering life and what it's made of. She looks at the toilet paper and says, "Mommy, I wish we had lots and lots of toilet paper." Then of course I ask why. Her response, "Because Spencer needs some...he needs to wipe his butt." Spencer is our cat...his litter box is beside the toilet.
Recently LitlBit came running into the living room, "Mommy- Daddy my toilet is getting bigger." We ignored. "Mommy-Daddy my toilet is getting really big!" We ignored. "Mommy I need to tee-tee. Can I use your potty?" "Why?" "Because mine is really big." We look. Her toilet is stopped up. Moral of the story...beware of big toilets!
On Father's Day we went with the family to a Baron's baseball game...during the game LitlBit and my nephew found a gigantic grasshopper...LitlBit came running to me and said, "Mommy Mommy I found a lobhopper!" To which my nephew who is of the same age says, "I saw an eyepopper!"
I have not written in quite a long time! That was by design really. At any rate...I'm back! Just a quick post for the moment as there is much to do today around the house! LitlBit is signed up for a contest! Please vote for her picture!
