It's a Beautiful Day In the Neighborhood!

It was a fabulous day in Helena, Alabama! Amazingly enough the house slept late today (insert gasp here). I can't believe it. Usually LitlBit wakes us up at no later than 7:00 a.m. (if we are lucky). So, sleeping to 8:00 was a major treat! We lounged around this morning. Then at about 11:00 LitlBit and I decided to enter the land of the living. We visited our favorite haunt...Target...but also the pet store, Best Buy and Walmart. Daddy knew we were going to the pet store so we had specific rules ... come home with kitty cat nails (our cat uses the Lee press on nails for kitties hahahaha)...not a kitty or anything else with legs! When we came home we enjoyed some time outside. The day was beautiful! It was in the low 70s and just was great! We played and played and played outside. The pretty weather made me want spring here like now! Tonight LitlBit and I went outside and looked at the stars. That was something I was facinated with as a kid. The stars and sky. I just loved looking and dreaming. Wondering who was looking at the star I was. Wondering if I was the only one. No time like the present to get munchkin to join in on the games!

While LitlBit and I were outside daddy went out and got a tv for her playroom. I think I should have given him rules like he did us at the pet store! Rule number one...it is a playroom not an entertainment room...nothing big...in case you are wondering he called inquiring if we wanted a 36 inch television....ummmmm....no! So, LitlBit is the proud owner of a 22 inch LCD. It is going to serve multiple functions. We are not wanting to put any more furniture than absolutely necessary in the playroom. So, we hooked the tv up to our desktop computer as well to conserve on space. LitlBit can play on the computer too. So, it is a win-win. Now if only I could get it a bit more organized in there! That is my task for the week/end. Well, that and unpack from London. I have still not tackled that hot pink suit case! I am also needing to get a few more pieces of furniture and and some paintings. I bought one canvas at a market in London but need it framed. Any suggestions on where I can get this done at a reasonable amount? I do not want to spend a fortune on one.

Hello! My name is Butte Meddler. I know of a lovely place for you to get your London artwork framed. It’s a wonderful little shop situated in a warm and inviting city. The name of the frame shop is Fantasy Framework, and the easiest way to get there is by following the rainbow just beyond where the fairies dance. Don’t forget to stop at the end of the rainbow and get yourself a pot of gold from the small friendly guy who calls himself Shamrock. (How is that for a coupon?) The shop owner, who happens to be a unicorn, is a good friend of mine, so please tell her hello for me. FYI, it may be hard to believe, but the shop also carries a wide assortment of pre-kissed frogs in a variety of “Prince Charmings” from any aristocracy you can imagine. Finally, while you are in the neighborhood, please stop in the little establishment next door called “The Furry Tale” and say hello to my very good friend Franz. Yes, if you must know ahead of time, it is a gay bar, but Franz and all of his patrons are wonderful people! Most of all he’ll give you a free tour of the club if you tell him you are there for Butte.

Hope this is helpful. I look forward to hearing back from you!

Oh, one more thing…I almost forgot! If you want to have a wonderful meal, you should have lunch or dinner at “Hansel & Gretel’s”, just down the street from “The Furry Tale”.

Bye for now!

Your Shooting Star,
Butte Meddler
